🌿About Lisa Gentile
Credentials
Lisa Gentile is a Certified Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist with over three decades of experience dedicated to guiding individuals toward greater health, clarity and alignment. She holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and began her career in bariatric medicine, where she played a pivotal role in the FDA approval of the Lap-Band.
Her first book, Transform Body and Mind with the Help of the Lap-Band, reflects her early dedication to bridging physical transformation with mindset support.
Community Impact
Throughout her career, Lisa has expanded her reach beyond traditional clinical settings. She has worked with veterans, children, adults with disabilities, and senior citizens, offering compassionate care and personalized nutrition guidance. Her passion for service also extends into the nonprofit space, where she has volunteered with multiple community-based organizations across Long Island.
These experiences have shaped her holistic view of health and deepened her commitment to meeting people where they are, no matter their background or circumstances.
Integrative & Spiritual Approach
Lisa’s approach to wellness integrates both evidence-based science and soul-centered healing. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Naturology and is certified in several metaphysical modalities, including Numerology, DNA analysis, the chakra system, and vibrational energy work.
As an Integrative Nutrition Health Counselor and Certified Personal Fitness Trainer/Health Fitness Instructor, she blends physical and energetic tools to help clients reconnect with their body’s wisdom and shift into greater balance.
Athletic Roots
Lisa’s passion for strength and movement began early in life. As a teenager, she joined an all-boys ice hockey team, eventually earning a college scholarship to play for a women’s team. She went on to compete for over a decade with a nationally ranked, gold medal-winning team. That discipline and resilience continue to fuel her work today.
Personal Life
Lisa draws strength and inspiration from her family and is a proud wife and mom. She enjoys an active lifestyle rooted in both movement and stillness, and she integrates yoga, cycling, breathwork, strength training, prayer, and meditation into her daily rhythm.
Author & Guide
In her second book, Seen to Share: My Soulful Truth from Illness to Enlightenment, Lisa shares her deeply personal journey through endometriosis and spiritual healing. Her story reflects a core belief that illness is not just physical, but a call to return to self.
Lisa now supports others in transforming their own healing journeys—through nourishment, energetic alignment, and a return to wholeness. Her greatest joy is helping clients awaken their inner wisdom and feel empowered in both body and spirit.
